ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Wiltshire. Educated at Chippenham Grammar School, Kingston Polytechnic and the Inns of Court School of Law.
My west country accent has been ameliorated by stints of living in London, Milton Keynes, Leeds and Staffordshire but it breaks through occasionally when under stress.
I started work in commerce with Unigate, British Oxygen and British Steel before studying law as a mature student and working as a full-time trade union official for the GMB, NALGO and NATFHE, where I met my wife Lynda.
I followed her to Leeds and worked as an employment law specialist for EEF, MHL and Irwin Mitchell Solicitors.
We are now retired and living in North Staffordshire where Lynda was born. I have a son, Simon, who is a nurse living on the south coast.
I have a real passion for crime thrillers which is why I decided to write some when I retired. I also love Greece where Lynda and I try to holiday every year. Hence, the Warrior Detective Series features a Greek police officer and most are set in Greece, though not all. I set the thrillers in places I have visited.
